The month of may has brought forward an exciting lineup of films, series, and reality shows to binge this summer. Paramount+ has a full slate of interesting releases including the premiere of David Beckam’s talk show Beckham & Friends Live and the seasons of some popular reality shows.

American Music Awards are set to happen this month and will be available to stream on the digital giant. Scary Movie films and seasons of RuPaul’s Drag Race are also included in the diverse lineup of the digital platform. Here’s what it set to release on Paramount+ during the month of May.

Lisa Kudrow’s new trending show on Netflix, No Good Deed, proves she should’ve starred in a dark comedy series a long time ago. Kudrow has been a screen legend since starring as Phoebe Buffay in the cast of Friends. Like her five co-stars, Kudrow was launched to superstardom by her 10 seasons on the show. But she’s also had a great career outside her time on Friends. She starred in the cult classic Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion with Mira Sorvino and gave scene-stealing turns in movies like Neighbors, Booksmart, and Hotel for Dogs.

No Good Deed is the latest show from Dead to Me creator Liz Feldman. Feldman acted as showrunner and executive producer, and even directed a couple of episodes. Paramount has announced the lineup of movies, TV shows, and live sports coming to the Paramount+ streaming service in November. The Paramount Plus November 2024 schedule includes Taylor Sheridan’s Landman, which navigates the fortune-seeking world of Texas oil rigs.

Sports fans can also enjoy an incredible spread of games over the holiday week, including the Nwsl Championship and UEFA Champions League marquee matches, as well as NFL on CBS and Big Ten on CBS action.

In November, audiences will be treated to the premiere of the new original series Landman, from Taylor Sheridan, co-creator of Yellowstone and starring Oscar winner Billy Bob Thornton, Golden Globe nominee Demi Moore, and Emmy Award winner Jon Hamm.

The legendary RuPaul Charles is upping the stakes with all-new franchise of the Emmy-winning “RuPaul’s Drag Race” with the premiere of “RuPaul’s Drag Race Global All Stars.” In this new show, 12 queens from all around the globe will compete for a grand prize and a place in the international pavilion at the Drag Race Hall of Fame.

And that’s not the only beloved property giving something new. The final season of the Paramount+ original series “Seal Team” is also set to hit the streamer this month.

Along with the new content, there are loads of existing films and shows coming to the platform, including family favorites like “We Bought a Zoo” and “Hotel for Dogs.” Staple movies like “Pulp Fiction” and “The Big Short” will also be available to watch.

Paramount has announced the lineup of movies, TV shows, and live sports coming to the Paramount+ streaming service in August. The Paramount Plus August 2024 schedule includes Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the final season of Seal Team.

Fallout is the most exciting Amazon Original dropping this month. From Westworld creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, this long-awaited adaptation of the popular video game franchise looks incredible, and is bound to be a hit among video game fans and newcomers alike. The series stars Ella Purnell (Yellowjackets), Walton Goggins (The Righteous Gemstones), and Aaron Clifton Moten (Disjointed).

Prime Video doesn’t have much else in the way of original offerings this month, aside from the return of Alex Rider on Freevee a few other films and TV series, but there are plenty of popular films joining the streaming service’s library. Cloverfield, Batman & Robin, Titanic, and The Notebook are just a few of the notable movies coming to Prime this month.

AGC Television, the television production and distribution division of Stuart Ford’s AGC Studios, has added YA fantasy adventure trilogy “Hook’s Daughter: The Pirate Princess Chronicles” to its slate.

The series is based on R.V. Bowman’s popular book series of the same name. Thor Freudenthal is attached to direct and Lucy Brown (“Bride or Groom”) is adapting the books. AGC chief creative officer Lourdes Diaz, YA division head Aghi Koh and CEO Stuart Ford will executive produce.

The trilogy centers on a 16-year-old girl who, when her sea captain father fails to show up for his annual visit at her boarding school, breaks out to search for him. She is shocked to find he is on a magical island called Neverland and is known as the villainous Captain Hook. But when she uncovers family secrets, she also discovers the real villain just might be Peter Pan.

Now a week into the new year, Max is, like many of us, cleaning house. The streamer is ushering in a new month of library additions and new originals, and, like usual, we have to give to get.

Consider this a fun little aperitif for the fast approaching Harley Quinn season 3 – which will feature none other than freshly-installed DC czar James Gunn. A new season of “The Boys,” the latest “Bond” movie and the entire “Twilight” franchise are among the new streaming additions to Amazon Prime Video in June. The highly anticipated “The Boys” Season 3 is set to premiere on June 3 with the first three episodes of the season, followed by one new episode weekly.

The Jenny Han adaptation “The Summer I Turned Pretty,” a new YA series, premieres on June 17. And Daniel Craig’s final James Bond movie “No Time to Die” makes its streaming debut on Prime Video on June 10.

As far as noteworthy library titles go, this is also your new streaming home for the “Twilight” franchise, while “Shaun of the Dead,” “Galaxy Quest” and “Fantastic Mr. Fox” will all be streaming starting June 1.

Showtime Documentary Films announced “We Need To Talk About Cosby” will premiere on Jan. 30 at 10 p.m., following its Sundance Film Festival premiere.

From Emmy-winning director W. Kamau Bell, the four-part docuseries will take a deep dive into Bill Cosby’s influential career and ultimate downfall — due to accusations of rape, drug facilitated sexual assault, sexual battery and other misconduct by more than 60 women.

“As a child of Bill Cosby, I was a huge fan of all of his shows and wanted to be a comedian because of him,” said Bell in a statement. “I never thought I’d ever wrestle with who we all thought Cosby was and who we now understand him to be. As the Covid-19 pandemic spread across the globe, Emmy-nominated actress Betty Gilpin returned to her childhood home in Connecticut, opting to ride out uncertain times with her parents and two younger brothers. Praise Zeus! Disney+ is working on a Percy Jackson TV series. This information comes from about as solid a source as one could hope: Percy Jackson author Rick Riordan himself. Riordan and his wife Becky shared the good news on the former’s Twitter account on May 14.

“After a lot of hard work and a lot of support from you guys, Percy Jackson is coming to Disney+,” Riordan told his followers.

Netflix has confirmed that 51 new original series, movies and specials will be debuting on the streaming service in September, including the second season of the Peabody-winning satire “American Vandal” and season 5 of “Bojack Horseman.”

If you wanted to have a romantic comedy movie night, you better get going because a number of classics are leaving Netflix in September.

“Forgetting Sarah Marshall” and Jennifer Garner’s “13 Going on 30” are departing the streaming service on Sept. 1, as well as “Just Friends” with Ryan Reynolds and Amy Smart. For dramatic fare, catch “Dead Poets Society,” “The Imitation Game,” and Christopher Nolan’s “Batman Begins” and “The Dark Knight” before they leave at the beginning of the month.

And with Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga’s “A Star Is Born” hitting theaters on Oct. 5, it might also be a good idea to check out the 1976 remake with Barbra Streisand before it leaves Sept. 15.

Todd Haynes’ “Carol” is heading to Netflix, as well as two other masterpieces from provocative auteurs: Quentin Tarantino’s “Pulp Fiction” and Darren Aronofsky’s “Requiem for a Dream.” As the summer movie season winds down, Netflix has plenty of gems to carry you into fall.

HBO’s well-received limited series “The Night Of” will wrap up its eight-part whodunnit in late August. Steve Zaillian’s gritty drama, which examines a man’s fate after he wakes up charged with the murder of a relative stranger, debuted to rave reviews from critics and audiences. IndieWire’s Ben Travers writes, “By actively engaging on personal and political levels, Zaillian sucks the viewer into a nightmare scenario wholly dependent on two verdicts: first, whether or not Naz is found guilty, but also if he really did it.” Here’s hoping the series can maintain its slow burn thrills all the way to the end.

Lionsgate and Buried director Rodrigo Cortés are joining up once again for a big screen adaptation of Lois Duncan’s 1974 young-adult novel Down a Dark Hall. Read on for the first details.

According to THR, the studio will adapt the book with Twilight author Stephenie Meyer producing. Cortés is set to direct. Meyer and Meghan Hibbett, who will also produce, optioned the supernatural novel through their Fickle Fish Films last year.

The story follows Kit Gordy, a new student at the exclusive Blackwood Boarding School who confronts the school's supernatural occurrences and dark powers of its headmistress.

Michael Goldbach was brought on by Meyer and Hibbett to write the original draft of the screenplay. Chris Sparling, who wrote Gus Van Sant's upcoming Sea of Trees and the thriller Buried, will do additional writing on the script.

Duncan's novels have previously been adapted into films including 1997's slasher film I Know What You Did Last Summer...

Exclusive: Fox 2000 and The Donners Company’s Lauren Shuler Donner have set up the D.J. MacHale novel trilogy Sylo. Shuler Donner and Donners’ production president Jack Leslie brought in a package that has Thor Freudenthal to direct and Marc Guggenheim to adapt. Shuler Donner and Leslie will produce. The series follow the inhabitants of a small island who find themselves cut off from the mainland by a mysterious government military force. A group of teens escape to the mainland, only to discover that the inhabitants of the United States have all but vanished, and that they were actually being kept safe. They try to discover the source of the invasion and fight back. The first book was published this past July by Razorbill, with the second book being released in March 2014, and the third book later that fall. Freudenthal and Guggenheim most recently worked at Fox 2000 on Percy Jackson And The Sea Of Monsters.

I saw 2010's Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, but for the life of me I don't remember what happens and after watching Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters, I still can't piece the entirety of the first film together. However, the only important details the audience seems to need to know are 1.) Percy Jackson (Logan Lerman) is the demigod son of Poseidon; 2.) Percy did something great in the first film by catching the Lightning Thief; and 3.) Luke (Jake Abel), the son of Hermes, is a bad guy. If there's more to know, I'm sorry but I'm at a loss, not that it really matters. I could read my review of the first film as a refresher, but that feels like cheating... sort of like how the studio is cheating anyone that pays to see this mess. The “Hotel for Dogs” dame and her “American Horror Story” boyfriend showed up in New Orleans on Tuesday (July 16) and Ms. Roberts broke down crying while chatting outside a film studio.

On July 7th, Emma was arrested for domestic violence after she attacked Peters at their hotel in Montreal, prompting guests to call the police.
