‘Grimm’ Movie in Development at Peacock

“Grimm” is coming back from the dead — this time, in the form of a movie.
Peacock is developing a feature-length reboot of the fantasy cop drama, which aired for six seasons on NBC from 2011 to 2017, Variety has confirmed.
Josh Berman, the creator of Lifetime’s “Drop Dead Diva,” is writing the “Grimm” movie, which he is executive producing with the original series showrunners David Greenwalt and Jim Kouf, as well as original EPs Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner. Milliner’s Hazy Mills Productions and Universal Television are the studios behind the reboot.
The plot and cast of the “Grimm” movie are kept under wraps, but the original series starred David Giuntoli as Portland Homicide Detective Nick Burkhardt, who discovers he is a Grimm, a guardian sworn to protect the balance between humanity and the mythological creatures known as Wesen.
