First on-camera work was in a political commercial for his father,
former US Congressman Les AuCoin (D-OR), complaining about how cheap
his dad was.
His friend from high school, Ben Mankiewicz, is the Turner Classic
Movies weekend host. The two won two championships together while
members of the Georgetown Day varsity basketball team.
