- Hobbies include figure skating, gymnastics, ballroom dancing, horseback riding, swimming and reading.
- Ranked #10 in Maxim's Hot 100 Women of 2003, ahead of Jennifer Garner and behind Elisha Cuthbert, Shakira, and Trista Sutter.
- Stated that producer Ivan Shapovalov was inspired to create t.A.T.u. after the release of Fucking Åmål (1998). t.A.T.u. has a song titled "Show Me Love".
- Russian singer-songwriter best known as one half of t.A.T.u., best for the song "All the Things She Said." She launched a solo career in 2009 and her first single, "Never Forget," won the MTV Russia 2011 Video Of The Year.
- Was a member of duo t.A.T.u. with Yuliya Volkova from 1999 to 2009. The duo had a few short reunions in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2016. As a part of the band, she represented Russia in the Eurovision Song Contest Riga 2003 (2003) along with Volkova and they finished 3rd out of 26 entries.
- [Finish this sentence: "My fans have a surprised laugh if they knew ..."] That for 14 years I had two dreams: a professional makeup artist, and the other to study psychology to rehabilitate young drug addicts.
- [After 12 years in a band, what's the best part of becoming a soloist?] In t.A.T.u. I was always in Julia's shadow. My only duty was to sing my part, and I didn't feel responsible for the show. She was the active part and I was passive. Now I'm the only one responsible for what happens on stage and what energy I radiate. I think all the artists who are part of a group secretly want to be soloists.
- [What was your childhood (childish) obsession?] For years, every day, I ate a salami and mayonnaise sandwich, and I was addicted to noodle soup. I remember when we were going to the supermarket, rather than purchase individual packages, my grandmother took the entire box. Of course this was unhealthy, so far above my weight, and when t.A.T.u. first started I had to go on a strict diet.
- [What did you like the least about being in a band?] I never was late, and she was always delayed. Sometimes we had events and I had to step up and wait up to an hour.
- [You know the music business very well. What's the most unpleasant thing about it?] That people are fake. When they're in front of you they flatter you, but when you're not around, they destroy you. I have more respect for someone who tells me: "I love what you do." That someone who welcomes all.
