Following news that a 100,000 settlement was reached due to a complaint that Bill Murray had allegedly acted inappropriately with a woman on the set of an upcoming movie, others have come forward with similar stories about the beloved “SNL” alum.

One of those people has been Geena Davis, who co-starred with Murray in the 1990 comedy “Quick Change”, revealing in her new memoir that she was asked to audition for Murray in his hotel room, where he “insisted” on using a “Thumper” massage device on her.

On the short list of post- classic-era comedies I can see over and over again is this beautifully executed Bill Murray crime comedy, which he co-directed. The fact that its basically silly main joke is whining about New York City doesn’t keep it from being hilarious from one end to the other. When it comes time for a getaway to the airport, Manhattan might as well be an impenetrable maze, an island of doom. Geena Davis and Randy Quaid give excellent comedy support, while Jason Robards holds up the police dragnet end of the story. The disc has no special extras but Murray’s movie is as satisfying as ever.

But unlike a lot of films before it, “Triple Frontier” seems completely disappointed in those badasses. The script, by Chandor (“A Most Violent Year”) and Mark Boal (“Zero Dark Thirty”), sends a group of grizzled veterans into a high-stakes heist situation which — as you can imagine — goes horribly wrong, but the tragedy isn’t that they might not get the money. The tragedy is that they tried.

It’s been years since I heard about a live-action/stop-motion monster movie called The Primevals. It’s something that I completely forgot about until this news popped up that the film was actually going to be completed, and that announcement came with a cool trailer for you to watch.

There's a good chance that some of you have no idea what The Primevals film project is. Well, it’s a “lost movie” from Full Moon Features that was being created by animation legend David W. Allen.

This was a passion project for Allen, and he was working on it for decades. He completed the live-action photography in 1994, and the film was “intended to be the company’s largest production, with a long post-production plan intended to complete the hundreds of stop-motion effects shots.”

Unfortunately, Allen passed away in 1999, leaving the film unfinished. But now the studio is picking up the pieces to finish it,...

Most reviews of last night’s “Saturday Night Live” indicate that the show didn’t quite put its best foot forward with its first episode of 2017, but as always there are a number of skits worth sharing. So, here we are. It’s 2017. The world hasn’t ended, and “Saturday Night Live” is back. Did the episode tackle Trump? Yes, somewhat. Was it a good episode? Not especially. Will you have a clear idea of who Felicity Jones is, and what her brand is, despite the fact that she was nominated for Best Actress just last year and we should probably get her by now? No. But are there still any sketches worth watching? Absolutely.

Pardon us: The monologue had a special guest star who burned Internet reviewers and threw us off our game. Or Did It? (It did — have a guest, at least.)

Felicity Jones is a good actress, an Academy Award nominee, the star of her own “Star Wars” spinoff, and a fairly prolific indie performer too. But who Is she?...

There’s no denying that MSNBC host Chris Matthews is a big fan of Richard Curtis’ holiday classic, “Love Actually.” (John Oliver even created a video mashup showing how much he references the film). Matthews thinks the movie has “as much to do with politics as it does with falling in love,” according to the Washington Post. The daily newspaper sat down with the political commentator to watch the British romantic comedy and share his favorite scenes.

Among his most memorable parts include the scene where prime minister David, portrayed by Hugh Grant, tells off the Us President (played by Billy Bob Thornton).

“[We love that scene] because we love courage. We love guts under pressure. And we like the fact that [David] was chivalrous,” Matthews says in the clip below. “He was looking out for his girl, and that’s what it was about. It’s great stuff.”
