Kitty Song Covey is signing up for another semester at Kiss. Netflix officially renewed Xo, Kitty for a third season, with series star Anna Cathcart helping break the news in a short Valentine’s Day video. Season two arrived in January 2025. The streamer hasn’t announced when fans can expect the third season to premiere.

“Xo, Kitty” has been renewed for Season 3 at Netflix.

The announcement was made on Netflix’s official X account on Friday. Season 2 of the YA series premiered on Netflix on Jan. 16.

Exclusive: Kitty’s Korean adventure will continue. Netflix has renewed its popular YA comedy series Xo, Kitty for a third season. Naturally, with romance front and center in the spinoff from the hit To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before film franchise, Anna Cathcart, who plays the titular character, got the renewal news on Valentine’s Day. Stella is an interesting new addition to the To All The Boys I've Loved Before spin-off series on Netflix. In Season 2, she is introduced as Kitty Song Covey's new roommate and Min Ho's eventual love interest at the Korean Independent School of Seoul (Kiss). 

As the season progresses, it is clear that Stella is hiding something in Xo Kitty after Season 2, Episode 1 hinted at her sinister side. The series ultimately reveals her true plan which has ties to her tragic past and connection to Min Ho's father, Mr. Moon.

Variety has learned exclusively that Audrey Huynh, Sasha Bhasin (“Brave the Dark”), and Joshua Lee (“Gangnam Project”) have all joined the second season of the “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” spinoff series at Netflix. Production is now underway in Seoul.

Huynh will appear in the series regular role of Stella, while Bhasin and Lee will recur in the roles of Praveena and Jin respectively.

Freeform and 20th Television’s “Aznbbgrl” has unveiled its main cast. The coming-of-age drama — about three Asian American teenagers in the vibrant Vietnamese community of Little Saigon in Orange County, Calif. — will star Cathy Bui, Lynn Kim Do and Jazelle Villanueva.

The one-hour-long episodes will follow the three teens’ “desire to break free from generational expectations and carve out their own place in the world. Together, these three very different women find escape and form a bond deeper than family when they become entangled with a street gang that offers them a way out.”

Bui will portray Anh, a driven girl focused on getting into an elite college.
