An intellectual young law student who renounces a promising career to become a schoolteacher in a remote poor village is forced to make a puzzling decision, in the aftermath of her rape.

Paulina is a young lawyer with a promising career in Buenos Aires, who chooses to go back to her home town. Her father, Fernando, is a well known judge. Against his will, Paulina decides to teach in a suburban high school as part of an inclusion program. One night, after the second week working there, she's brutally assaulted by a gang. With the disapproval of the people around her, she decides to go back to work, in the neighborhood where she was attacked, without realizing that her attackers may be even closer than she thought

Pursuing her ideals, Paulina, an intellectual young law student, decides to become a schoolteacher, renouncing a promising career and a bright future, much to her judge father's chagrin. As a result, the young idealist will soon find her calling in a remote poor village near the borders of Paraguay and Brazil, teaching the impoverished and underprivileged kids. However, Paulina, after an easy night of wine-drinking with a colleague, she will be sexually assaulted on her way home by a ruthless and invisible gang lurking in the shadows. Under those circumstances, refusing to let her recovery discourage her from teaching, Paulina will return to school embracing this cruel new reality, while at the same time, her devastated father is thirsting for justice.
