Expedition Canada, BC Wild: Building a World Class Event

This was a fantastic look behind the scenes of making a world class expedition length adventure race. Not only a look at the 'making of' but a chance to experience first hand what it takes to win an event like this!

The scenery, cinematography, commentary and overall story line were all well put together. Such a great opportunity to tag along with the fun loving crew and see their vision unfold in the final episodes.

A word of caution - if you haven't raced before, this will certainly spark an interest in the world of adventure racing!

This series was a wonderful and captured the many ups and downs of planning an expedition race. The passion and drive of the RD and entire Hoodoo team was on full display on film and in person throughout the making of and entire race.

Fantastic job capturing the beauty of the Okanagan and the persistence of each racer through the expedition.

Can't wait for Expedition Canada 2023 series and an introduction to new teams, experiences and areas in the Okanagan.

Kudos to all the cameraman and videographers for trekking/biking/drinking to all the remote locations and delivering some breathtaking shots.

If you are looking to get inspired and have a laugh, this show is for you. Most people don't see the interior of British Columbia as an adventure destination, but this show proves otherwise. The terrain is stunning and world class and the witty/humorous ladies that are building this amazing event opportunity in their region, which is such a huge undertaking(!!), are full of adventure, and this is only the start of it! Their story is developing as they build a world class destination event and grow together as a team, one an athlete entering the world of event organizing, the other an event organizer re-entering the world of being an "athlete" as they create a 500+ km adventure racing course in their own backyard. A truly inspiring story!

This series gives a fantastic look into the dedication of the team behind the scenes. When watching any inspiring adventure series available, the focus is on the participants and their journey to the finish. This is a new perspective on what it takes to be back-stage in the adventure racing community, a nice breath-of-fresh air. A nitty-gritty real-life look at how much work, determination, dedication, and resilience is needed to put on an event of this caliber successfully. Being able to follow the laughs, aches, pains, hiccups, and achievements throughout the process gives a newfound appreciation for how truly inspiring adventure racing can be. The story, with such artistic footage and cinematography, cultivates a deeper appreciation of how thrilling, majestic, impressive, and powerful adventuring in British Columbia can be.
