Belle finally gives in to the persistent Alex and agrees to a date with him.

After seeing a doctor about breast enlargement Belle goes on her first date with Alex, though she is nervous and he notices the lines drawn on her body in readiness for surgery. However she gets a panic call from Bambi, who has gone to meet a client who attacked her and paid her with dud notes. They agree to warn other working girls about him.—don @ minifie-1

Belle unbuttons. Her body is her work. If she's not in good shape, then neither is her career. She's considering some "professional development" --- a boob job. The doctor walks in to take a look. He draws on her bare chest and he and the nurse look distressed. Once she's in a bathrobe after the doctor tells her the name for her slightly droopy boobs is "tuberous." Lovely.

Alex has left a message. After she's dressed again there's a knock at the exam room door. It's the doctor who just frowned at her chest. He wants to schedule their next appointment, the one where she's the professional. He apologizes for being so cold earlier. She understands, the nurse was there.

Belle talks about being an independent prostitute as Bambi runs up to her in the park. She's decided to go for it. Belle tries to look happy for the slight ditzy girl. Bambi doesn't have an agency yet, and Belle frowns at the one Bambi found on the Internet. It's in some bloke's garage, for crying out loud.

Belle and Bambi walk in to meet another agent. It's Stephanie, the madam Belle used to use until she sent Belle out with a violent client. She makes the introduction and wants to leave, but Bambi wants her to stay, as the madam makes her nervous. Stephanie and Belle trade subtle barbs. Stephanie complains that escorts are all Eastern Europeans and porn stars these days. Bambi notes that she did a little porn. They look down on escorts. Porn stars are performers. And escorts look down on them. Bambi is put off. She's going to be independent like Belle.

They chat later, but Belle warns her that she's not a real mentor. "Ment-whore" Bambi snorts.

Alex calls, Belle ignores. Bambi asks who it is and when Belle says it's a date she doesn't want to go on Bambi offers. Er, no. A real date. While Belle tries to focus on teaching the young girl the importance of security, using an email from a prospective client as a lesson about who not to pick, Bambi tries to talk her into going out with Alex. Bambi thinks Belle's being uptight, if she didn't know better, she'd think Belle needed to get laid. Belle explains that since her best friend left she's sort of become all about work. Bambi berates her until Belle says OK and goes into the other room to call Alex. Bambi takes the time alone to respond to the sketchy email message on Belle's behalf.

Belle gets ready for her date -- a work one. It's the plastic surgeon. As they get down to it, he has some difficulty achieving his desired purpose. After, Belle thinks it might have been because of her now-diagnosed less-than-spectacular breasts. He hails them as enjoyably normal while he talks about how he doesn't like his job. The phrase "anal bleaching" is mentioned. And "vaginoplasty." He tells Belle he specifically started seeing her because she hadn't had work. Belle makes people feel better about themselves, while he makes them feel awful. To wit, tuberous breasts. He takes out his pen and starts marking her up including a fake mustache and writing "do not cut me" across her chest. As he gets dressed the doctor mentions that he prefers her to that other girl who answered her phone that she sent around.

Cut to Belle (still with a drawn-on fake mustache) ranting to Bambi's voice mail that she was trying to help her while Bambi was stealing clients from her. She knows about the laptop, too. This is why you should never help anyone, she says.

She arrives late for her date with Alex, with a faint mustache still drawn-on. He notices. Her best explanation is "sometimes I like to draw facial hair on myself." They have a laugh or two and he asks what she does. Night time legal secretary. She talks about having plastic surgery, and Alex, a doctor, tries to talk her out of it. They're having a good time, flirting, when Bambi calls, in trouble. She's locked herself in a hotel bathroom. With a ranting bloke hammering on the door. Belle leaves to help her, saying good-bye to Alex with a thanks. He remains, flustered.

Belle arrives at Bambi's room. The man is gone. Bambi tells her the guy tried to pay her with fake money and ripped her clothes off. That's when she ran into the bathroom. Bambi tries to apologize, but Belle brushes her off, saying it's okay. She gets Bambi dressed to leave and notices scarring on the inside of her arm, like she was cut. Bambi says it's from ages ago.

They ride home in a cab and Belle holds Bambi, reassuring her. Belle tells Bambi she can't let the job take over her life. She wants to know everything about the guy so she can alert the other girls. Bambi asks to stay with her.

Hannah contemplates herself naked in the mirror, resolving to keep one thing for herself. Well, two things.
