Trivia
The amphibious aircraft from Chalk's Ocean Airways, seen in the end of the episode with registration N2969, first flew in 1947. It crashed on December 19, 2005 (Flight 101 from Miami to Bimini), killing everyone aboard - 2 crew and 18 passengers. The right wing separated in flight shortly after takeoff because of existing cracks due to metal fatigue that had been improperly repaired by the maintenance crew. The same plane was featured at the end of the Miami Vice pilot.

Errores
In the beginning of this episode Guerreros henchman fires a weapon with suppressor attached but pretty normal gunshot sound is heard, a few moments later Guerrero shoots the girl with same gun and suppressed sound is heard.

This episode's got a great soundtrack and climax!

Miami Vice season four (which ran from 1987-1988) was better than its previous season for three reasons: 1- Crockett's hairstyle was better. 2- Jan Hammer's score changed for certain episodes. 3- The pastels came back. This episode "Baseeballs Of Death" has got quite an original story which makes it good, a great soundtrack and a climax! The only thing I found quite irritating about season four was that there was hardly any action with scarab. All in all, this episode is one of my favorites from season four along with: "Rising Sun Of Death", "Deliver us from Evil" and "Mirror Image". Rating 9/10. Miami Vice is a great show and knows how to entertain.
