ITN Studios, the company that sent Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey out into the world earlier this year, has picked up the distribution rights to the horror film The Woman Under the Stage, and while they haven’t announced a release date for the movie yet, they have unveiled a trailer for it. Dread Central recently got the exclusive first look at the trailer, but now you can check it out in the embed above.

Directed by Ezekiel Decker, who also crafted the screenplay with Logan Rinaldi, The Woman Under the Stage has the following synopsis: A young woman comes to discover just how far she will go to achieve immortality while receiving the role of a lifetime in a mysterious stage play said to be cursed.

Ron, 59, checked himself into the hospital at 2:30 a.m. on Jan. 30, when he was experiencing severe chest pains, and doctors discovered an aneurysm close to his heart. Ron drove himself to Cedars-Sinai hospital on Jan. 29 after experiencing severe chest pain, Mike tells TMZ. Doctors examined the him and discovered the aneurysm close to his heart.

Writer Josh Olson and filmmaker Adam Rifkin will join the group of filmmakers who will speak at the TromaDance Press Conference at Afm. The press conference is part of the TomaDance Film Festival and is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 4, in the Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel Press Room.

Olson received an Academy Award nomination for his work writing “A History of Violence.” More recently, he has penned a “Wizard of Oz” sequel for Warner Brothers and adapted the novel “One Shot” for Paramount.

"Heroes" star Ali Larter has sparked speculation that she's having a bun in the oven. The 34-year-old actress was spotted sporting what-appears-to-be a baby bump while shopping at Barney's New York in Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon, July 15.

We (Bob Rose, me, I?) at the Opinion In A Haystack Department are proud to announce that I (we?) were (was?) given the chance to pick the brain bucket of Hollywood’s supreme philosopher and film-creationist, Sir Adam Rifkin (facebook, twitter, myspace.) He’s the filmmaker responsible for Detroit Rock City, The Chase, The Dark Backward, and, more recently, the award winning Look. I was able to sit down with Mr. Rifkin, in front of our respective computers, and interview him, via email, about a plethora of assorted, varied, diverse, sundry, indiscriminate, and heavily kaleidoscopic ideas.

I originally sent Mr. Rifkin over 3,000 questions, most of which involved very uncomfortable queries about his family lineage, sexual fears, and Laserdisc-replica collection. He answered all of them in full detail, thus passing the interview-qualification-process, which allowed me to send him the 16 questions you will find below.

Actress Ali Larter has shot down reports boyfriend Hayes MacArthur has been forbidden by his family to marry the star.

The Hollywood couple cosied up on the set of their 2007 comedy Homo Erectus and have been inseparable ever since.

But according to reports at U.S. magazine Star, MacArthur's conservative family has hit out at Larter for living a lavish celebrity lifestyle.

A source tells the tabloid, "He comes from tons of money, and his family is very old-fashioned. They wish he'd marry a doctor or a financial planner. Anything but a Hollywood celebrity. She's really in love with him... She can't wait to tie the knot so she can prove to his family that she can be an excellent wife."

But Larter has denied the allegations, telling U.S. magazine Glamour in a recent interview: "Things are going so well."...

National Lampoon has acquired worldwide rights to Adam Rifkin's Homo Erectus. The prehistoric comedy, the film, written and directed by Rifkin, stars Rifkin and Ali Larter. Produced by Burnt Orange Productions and the University of Texas Film Institute with Brad Wyman and Carolyn Pfeiffer serving as producers and Tom Schatz as exec producer, the film will be released theatrically in September under the title "National Lampoon's Homo Erectus," followed by home video distribution through National Lampoon Home Entertainment.
