The question of the true nature of humanity, of human egocentrism, has been the central topic of a number of iconic anime titles. Renowned director Shinichiro Watanabe’s timeless classic, Cowboy Bebop, is a great example of this where the opposing perspective related to the issue is shown through Spike and Vicious’ ideological conflict.
