Shinichirō Watanabe (“Cowboy Bebop”) returns to science fiction anime with the Japanese-produced “Lazarus”, currently in production, starring Koichi Yamadera and Megumi Hayashibara, following secret agents hunting for a vaccine to save humanity after a seemingly miracle cure-all drug turns deadly, debuting in 2025 on Adult Swim:
