Although dissecting Rick’s psyche is one of my favorite things to do, it cannot be completely done without analyzing his relationship with Morty. The series has maintained a certain level of consistency when it comes to its relationship. Whether this is a good thing or a bad thing is up to public opinion.

However, there is no denying that the power dynamic is toxic in many ways. This has been a point of criticism among fans, not targeted towards the creators, but towards Rick’s character. Courtney Love surprised attendees at the Royal Geographical Society in London by singing a cover of the Bob Dylan classic “Like a Rolling Stone.”

The Hole singer was at the venue on Tuesday (March 4th) to host a conversation with actor-writer Todd Almond to discuss his new book Slow Train Coming: Bob Dylan’s Girl From the North Country and Broadway’s Rebirth. Following the talk, the pair were joined by an acoustic guitarist as they got up to sing “Like a Rolling Stone,” with Love on lead vocals and Almond backing her up.

The performance came 59 years after Dylan sang the song at his famous 1966 concert at Royal Albert Hall, which is right next door to the Royal Geographical Society. It also came roughly a year after Love joined Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong for a few Cheap Trick and Tom Petty covers in London.

A massive trove of live performances from the late-Nineties/early-Aughts glory days of music television has finally made it to the streaming era, with Paramount+ uploading old episodes of MTV Unplugged, CMT Crossroads, and VH1 Storytellers.

Unlike her hit song, Macy Gray didn’t stumble while walking off the UK version of The Masked Singer. On the most recent episode of the singing competition, the artist — dressed as Toad in the Hole — stormed off the stage after her elimination. Watch a clip below.

It reportedly took an hour to coax Gray back out for her exit interview, during which she gave short answers. According to the Daily Mail, Gray was “blindsided” by being eliminated in the season’s third episode after previously reaching the finals of the US version of The Masked Singer in 2023.

Host Joel Dommett described the incident as the “funniest thing I’ve ever seen in my life” while speaking to BBC Radio 2’s Paddy McGuinness. Dommett also joked that eliminated contestants can’t be too upset because they “get the same money and you don’t have to do anything else.

The official website of Dorohedoro anime revealed a new update for the second season of the anime on Jan 12, 2025. This new update marked the fifth anniversary of the anime’s original broadcast.

The new update in question is a brand new teaser visual, which comprises the storyboard from the sequels scattered throughout.

Additionally, the teaser visual also confirmed that Dorohedoro Season 2 will be releasing in 2025.

Courtney Love has shared more details about her upcoming solo album, including its collaborators — both the ones who said yes and the one who, apparently, ghosted her.

As she explained in a new interview with The Standard, Love didn’t “intend” for the album to be so collaborative. She’s choosing to keep most of its contributors close to the vest, but she did confirm Michael Stipe’s involvement. “Stipe mentioned our collaboration to The New York Times, so I can say it’s gorgeous,” Love explained. “I fell down weeping hearing his voice – it’s better than ever! I thought I knew the outcome, but I’m still the grasshopper while Michael is the sensei.”

She also confirmed that that Echo & the Bunnymen’s Will Sergeant plays on the album. “Will Sergeant, my favorite guitarist on earth, from my favorite band agreed to work with me!,” Love said. “He’s such an icon.

Jen & Sylvia Soska (Rabid, American Mary) have joined forces with Tubi for Festival of the Living Dead, a new horror movie based on George Romero’s classic zombie film.

We’ve learned this week that Festival of the Living Dead will bite into Tubi on April 5.

The Soska Sisters tweet this week, “This is a gorgeous, high action, big heart, loads of zombies beautiful film! We shot it last year in Vancouver and we cannot wait to share it with you!”

BBC Radio 6 Music and BBC Sounds have announced a new eight-part series called Courtney Love’s Women. The audio program will find the Hole singer discussing the women who’ve influenced her while also reflecting on several aspects of her life and career.

Love will be joined by writer Rob Harvilla throughout the series. Per a press release, the Hole frontwoman will take “listeners on an intimate and unfiltered, era by era journey through her life and the music that made her.”

Among the various events in her life that Love will touch upon are the time she recited Sylvia Plath poetry for a Mickey Mouse Club audition; her drug abuse struggles; her role in The People vs. Larry Flynt; an attempt to play matchmaker with Stevie Nicks and Billy Corgan; hanging out at the Playboy Mansion with Debbie Harry during a Limp Bizkit album launch party; her relationship with Kurt Cobain; and more.

Netflix has unveiled its roster of Nordic titles, including Jo Nesbø’s Norwegian series “Harry Hole” (working title), a series adaptation of Amanda Romare’s novel “Diary of a Ditched Girl” starring Carla Sehn (“Love & Anarchy”), the female-led “The New Force,” and a film adaptation of Alex Ahndoril’s “The Key Series.”

“Harry Hole” is entirely penned by Nesbø, a bestselling crime novelist best known for “Occupied” and “The Snowman.” Based on Nesbø’s novel “The Devil’s Star,” the series is set in Oslo during the summer and follows police detective Harry Hole who’s just been abandoned by his girlfriend. Charles Dierkop, the busy character actor who played tough guys in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, The Sting and the 1970s Angie Dickinson series Police Woman, has died. He was 87.

Dierkop died Sunday at Sherman Oaks Hospital after a recent heart attack and bout with pneumonia, his daughter, Lynn, told The Hollywood Reporter.

The Wisconsin native also appeared alongside Rod Steiger in Sidney Lumet’s The Pawnbroker (1964), played the mobster Salvanti in Roger Corman’s The St. Valentine’s Day Massacre (1967) and was a murderous Santa Claus in the cult horror movie Silent Night, Deadly Night (1984).

After portraying an uncredited pool-hall hood in the Paul Newman-starring The Hustler (1961), Dierkop got to work with Newman again in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969) when he was hired to play Hole in the Wall Gang outlaw George “Flat Nose” Curry.

The official website of Dorohedoro announced on Jan 9, 2024, that a sequel is in the works and will be released as a streaming series. The confirmation comes after four years of eager anticipation among the fans since the original broadcast concluded in 2020.

Over five years after bombing with critics and at the box office, Michael Fassbender's The Snowman is enjoying a sudden rise in popularity on Netflix. Based on the seventh book in Jo Nesbø's Harry Hole series, the film centers on an alcoholic-yet-brilliant inspector in Norway who tries to solve a series of bizarre killings in which the murderer leaves behind the eponymous figure. Fassbender led the ensemble cast of The Snowman that also featured Rebecca Ferguson, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Val Kilmer, J.K. Simmons, Toby Jones and Chloë Sevigny, among others.

As first noted by Uproxx, one Michael Fassbender movie is dominating Netflix's trending charts in spite of its terrible legacy. The Snowman, which premiered on the streaming platform on April 16, has quickly shot up the charts within its first week of debuting on Netflix, consistently appearing in its Top Ten and even holding the No. 1 spot for various periods of time.

Hit Showtime series “Yellowjackets” has already featured Alanis Morissette’s 1998 track “Uninvited.” Now the feminist icon has recorded a new version of the show’s theme song, “No Return,” as a single.

The single debuts in the Season 2, Episode 4 titled “Old Wounds,” which was released on Showtime streaming Thursday night. Morissette’s song will also available to download and stream globally via Universal Music Canada. Listen to the song here.
