At the MTV Movie awards, they were interviewing Adam Sandler, who claims to remember most people he has ever worked with. Jimmy Karz was there, and they asked Sandler if he recognized him. They told him who he was and Sandler responded by saying, "You're the one who grabbed Drew's tush.".

As of 2014, he attends Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
