Her character on Dawson's Creek (1998), Andie McPhee, left for Italy in Season Four (Episode 407) in November 2000. But her name remained in the opening credits for the remainder of the season, even though she no longer appeared. Her character of Andie returned in May 2001 for the graduation episode (Episode 422), which was her last appearance in the series, until the series finale two years later.

Married her boyfriend of 2 years Steven C. Kavovit in a small ceremony with just close family and friends in Hawaii.

Has twins, a son and a daughter (b. at the end of 2014), with her husband Steven C. Kavovit.

Meredith's deleted scenes from the series finale of Dawson's Creek (1998) (All Good Things... (2003) and ...Must Come to an End (2003)) (Episode 623 - "All Good Things ..." and Episode 624 - "...Must Come To An End") are included on the 2003 DVD release, which features the Director's extended cut.

Filmed three scenes reprising her role as Andie McPhee, for the two-hour series finale of Dawson's Creek (1998) (Episodes 623 and 624), but her scenes were cut due to time restraints.
