Maybe I'm giving too much credit to a Cartoon TV Movie, but when it has a moment where the world shows a dark transformation of what the future could be (With Danny Phantom: Ultimate Enemy, Fairly Oddparents: Abra- Catastrophe! and Kim Possible: A Sitch in Time, that makes three.) and it actually plays like a full length movie in a theater, and plays music that sounds like it came from a full orchestra, it has to be good.
The story is not unlike most of the episodes, which it starts off as, but in a much more dark time, when Kids are enslaved for creating Tapioca for an evil Villain named Grandfather. When a young boy only known as Numbah Zero uncovers an item called The book of KND, Numbah Zero starts what happens to be The Kids Next Door. Fast forward to years ahead, where a KND code Modulator, which is grabbed by Father, awakens Grandfather yet again, and now plans to destroy the entire world by turning everyone's youth, and majority of adults into "Senior Citizombies", soldiers of Grandfather, who with the transformation of the world, make the world look like it came from the 20's.
With very little hope for the world, It's up to the Kids Next Door to find the rumored Numbah Zero and save the world from Grandfather.
This will not disappoint. Where most TV Movies have a very poor ending, this one actually is very good. Not only does it have an awesome ending, but it doesn't leave you with some kind of dopey way of finishing the show, like going to fight an enemy right after saving the world, or having a character say something stupid, and the end shows everyone laugh at the end.
This movie gives you just five words to this ending, and it's probably the best ones to hear.
Now, it may be short, but compared to the 44 minute DP movies, or the almost 1hr. 30 mins. FOP movies, this one seems longer then the two.
If your a fan of the show, No doubt you won't miss this. If you aren't a fan, watch this movie. It's well done.

I didn't know what to think as I sat down and watched the premiere of this movie on cartoon network. As soon as it was over though, I knew that this was the best movie based off a TV show that I have seen yet.
Numbuh Zero: was he real or was he a legend? Most of the KND think the latter, but not Numbuh One, who really wants to believe that he was real. He will soon get the chance to find out when Father manages to recommission an even greater evil called Grandfather. Once revived, Grandfather formulates a plan to turn all the KND headquarters in the world into tapioca factories and turn all the operatives into senior citizombies so that they'll work for him. Numbuh One must now call upon the legendary hero to save the Kids Next Door before they're all doomed!
Codename: Kids Next Door is probably the only show on Cartoon Network nowadays that I actually enjoy watching (shows such as Billy and Mandy, My Gym Partner's a Monkey, Squirrel Boy, and Ben 10 make me question the creativity of cartoonists these days.) Anyway, I found it to be a great movie, full of action, adventure, humor, and creativity. Watch it if you ever get the chance!

This special hits so hard! It tackles the ultimate fear of growing up and dives deep into KND lore. Aside from the attack of the Museum scene being slow, the whole movie was fantastic and really did a good job showing the zombie apocalypse scenario in Kids Next Door. But the star moment in the whole film was the revelation that the Delightful Children From Down The Lane are really a brainwashed Sector Z. One of the best Sectors in KND history. By the way, they are not the same people scene helping Numbuh Zero at the beginning of the film. Those are separate people who resemble them.
I loved seeing the DCFTL as separate individuals and their true nature being revealed. It is sad that they reverted back at the end and this was never brought up again. Should Kids Next Door get a revival, the next big goal they should do is figure out a way to undo the delightfulization permanently. I know the effects are said to be permanent as well, but when you think about it, nothing in the world is permanent. Sector Z, may we meet again.

You would have thought it impossible, then again, numb uh 5 and her older sister are on opposite sides of the fence - and they are in the same family! This wasn't bad! Some of the graphics/animations were slightly better than in the regular episodes (kind of reminds me of the way the graphics/animations were slightly better in the movie version of South Park as opposed to it's TV counterpart). Good story line, lots of plot twists. Interesting to see Nigel (numb uh one) crying towards the end. I don't ever remember seeing him displaying that emotion. I hope this movie doesn't signal the end of the series. That's what happens sometimes with a project like this. I hope this is the precursor to bigger and better adventures. Let's see something happen with Hoagie P Gilligan's little brother!
If you've never seen this show, I don't know if I can recommend this movie but if you ever caught this during your childhood, it's as good as a fan would ever hope.
It's a really swell story that explores the world and lore of this amazing but troubled organization and at its core is the story of an individual (No.1) on a journey to realize that heroes do not always look how we think they will.
With a lot of intelligent recalls to previous episodes and a lot things established early to become important later, this feels like work went into it and was someone's passion project.
At its heart I like to think its a touching reflection on fathers and sons. In a series that is so painfully of how the life of a child is a life of bondage, this added a lot of balance.
