Snow White Ends 4th Weekend At #8 and Gets Beaten By “The King of Kings”
It is likely the end for “Snow White” at the box office. The film’s fourth weekend only made $2.8 million domestically and landed #8 out of the top 10. It was even beaten by a new biblical animated film, “The King of Kings,” which came in second place at $17.6 million domestically.
“The King of Kings” made more in its opening weekend than “Snow White” made in its second weekend ($14.3 million) and almost as much as the Disney film made in its second and third week combined ($20.2 million).
While good news for “The King of Kings” it’s terrible news for a Disney legacy IP film.
Disney probably should pull the film from theaters at this point because it won’t pull in much more money.
