“Ethical” Reason Why “The Good Place” Was Discontinued After 4 Seasons
After that “forking” twist in the first season finale, we all thought the same thing: The Good Place is here to stay for a long time. But no, the series came to a fitting conclusion just after four seasons and 53 episodes. So what happened? Fans should’ve taken the hint from creator Michael Schur when he said that the series is not your typical “200-episode, Friends kind of a deal.”
