We received news a couple of months ago that Tiffany Haddish would be starring in the newest installment/reboot of 21 Jump Street, and at the time, it was thought that Awkwafina would be starring alongside her. Since then, we’ve found that Awkwafina is no longer in talks for whatever reason, possibly because she has signed on to the untitled Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle sequel. We now have news that the next Jump Street movie will be entitled 24 Jump Street, and will star Haddish and Zendaya. I love Awkwafina, and think she would have been hilarious, but I actually think Zendaya is a perfect choice. I think she is funny, but much more understated than Haddish, and looks younger than both the other actresses, so she definitely fits in as an undercover cop.

When I heard the title of the movie, I thought I had maybe missed 23 Jump Street.
