As of 2013 he has won 2 Silver Medals at the Summer Olympic Games in the heavyweight division (Beijing 2008 and London 2012). He has also won 2 Gold Medals at World Amateur Boxing Championships (2007, 2013). - Brother-in-law of Italian judoka Giuseppe Pino Maddaloni. Pino won a Gold medal in the lightweight division at the 2000 Summer Olympics held in Sidney. Clemente's wife Laura Maddaloni and his other brother-in-law, Marco Maddaloni, are Italian judoka too.
