[January 2023 interview, on working with Woody Allen on Golpe de suerte (2023)] It was marvellous. It's a thriller, in French, in the vein of Match Point (2005). My parents loved his films and I grew up with Woody......Hannah y sus hermanas (1986), Manhattan (1979). But I have an artistic relationship with the cinema and with the people who make films. I idolise nobody, because I don't know the men and women who are hidden behind their work. Also, when I met Woody Allen, despite my admiration for his work, I didn't have any specific expectation. I enjoyed discovering him like I would any other filmmaker, and he revealed himself to be a modest, elegant and brilliant man.
