Father Bobby is a former heavyweight who fought Ken Norton and Larry Holmes, and sparred with Muhammad Ali.

Selected by the Dallas Mavericks fourth overall of the 1993 NBA Draft.

(March 24) Announced retirement after being waived by the Philadelphia 76ers. Mashburn never played for the 76ers after being acquired from the New Orleans Hornets in 2005. He averaged 19.1 points and 5.4 rebounds a game over 11 seasons with three teams.
