Mohammed Qissi

Ironically, his first film was Breakdance (1984), which was also the first film of his most famous adversary, Jean-Claude Van Damme. Both were cast as extras.

During a public appearance at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles (near USC), Qissi got a good laugh from a fan who greeted him...but without recognizing him as Tong Po from the "Kickboxer" movies. A few minutes later, the fan returned and begged Qissi's pardon for not knowing who he was initially.

Brother of Abdel Qissi and Youssef Qissi.

Born on exactly the same date as Amy Yasbeck-Ritter (John Ritter's widow).
