Somnium is the first feature from writer/director Racheal Cain after a trio of shorts, Everything Beautiful, The Clancy Family Funeral Home and Roaddog. It’s a film about dreams, both literal and figurative, following Gemma as, in the wake of a painful breakup, she decides to relocate to Los Angeles and pursue her dreams of Hollywood fame and fortune.

But, as we see in the montage that follows her arrival, that’s a dream that takes more than wishing on a star to make happen. The vampire universe you are imagining is certainly different from the universe of this film. What are the rules generally? Vampires are hidden creatures, the ‘undead’, and can’t bear too much sunlight. Well, in V for Vengeance, debutant director Kelly Halihan brings an updated version of the legend of the vampire. Some aspects remain untouched, and I must add that they are kept the same for good reason. The film begins on a very familiar note, and we get to feel what kind of film it’s going to be. But within the frame of reference of the slick action thriller, writers Steven Paul and Peter Moore Smith infuse the characters with likable traits and put them in absurd yet exciting situations. The result is that this story, about three stepsisters, becomes a vampire-ridden revenge tale.

Los Angeles, March 10 (Ians) ‘Stranger Things’ star Grace Van Dien is opening up about a bad experience on a recent movie set that is causing her to be more selective with her acting projects.

In a Twitch stream on Tuesday, Van Dien – who played Chrissy Cunningham on the most recent season of ‘Stranger Things’ – revealed that she has turned down four movie roles in the last two-and-a-half weeks and will be focusing more of her time on streaming, reports ‘Variety’.

“Here’s the thing, I have seen that some people are upset with me for turning down acting projects and deciding to stream more, but the fact of the matter is the last few projects I’ve worked on I didn’t have the best experiences with some of the people I had to work for,” Van Dien said.

She then alleged that a film producer made unwanted sexual advances toward her on set.

A beautifully restored muscle car sits by the side of the road as V for Vengeance begins. The trunk pops open and Emma pops out, changes into a skimpy outfit and waits. It doesn’t take long before some fat redneck shows up and tries to take advantage of the situation. He gets sucked, but not in the way he wanted.

The next time she tries this she ends up getting picked up by Scarlett, her adoptive, and estranged, sister. The two are vampires who apparently aren’t bothered by the bright sunlight they’re fighting each other under, silver however is a problem for them.
