If you look at all Seinfeld's part you find genius everywhere. Haven't you always wondered why this episode was called this and not that? Like for instance, why was this episode called the shoes and not the cleavage? I am kidding but Jerry says in this one: "Looking at cleavage is like looking at the sun. You don't stare at it. It's too risky. Ya get a sense of it and then you look away." Well, you should watch this scene where George and Jerry are supposed to meet with Russel in NBC to discuss to discuss the script for the pilot and they see his daughter denise richards' cleavage and Russell catches them looking. There's a funny dialogue between George and Jerry that you really don't want to miss. There's also this scene where they're trying to write the script, you don't want to miss this one either. In this scene they try to write some lines for Elaine and both surrender saying that they can't write for women hence the reason why Elaine wasn't in the pilot episode.

Was this episode an ode to jerry seinfeld perving on a teenager irl? To imagine this episode was pitched to a bunch of higher ups, and they all didn't think anything was wrong with this storyline. Just all around bad. Hoping the rest of the season four picks it up, the weakest season so far.

If there was a zero, I would rate it a zero. In one scene Seinfeld pokes Costanza to look at the cleavage of a 15 year old girl. That was disgusting..

Easily one of the weakest episodes in Season 4, the quality drop from The Movie to this is dramatic.

It seems that this episode propels the pilot arc further but in the end it is in the same place that it was before. All the things that happen in the episode are corrected by the end of it and it is all back to where it was.

Apart from that, the humor is not good. Taking some of George's phrases out of the way, nothing else rings funny. Gail isn't really good, Elaine's story with the shoes isn't entertaining and when they used her as an object of distraction Elaine lost a lot of her character.
