Alec Baldwin Reveals How He Lost 25 Pounds for 'Blue Jasmine'
Alec Baldwin is reflecting on his physical health.
The 67-year-old actor revealed how he lost weight for the hit 2013 movie Blue Jasmine, where he played a wealthy businessman named Hal.
“I didn’t have no pasta, no potatoes, no candy, no sugar, and I lost probably 25 pounds. You see me in the movie and I look trim, comparatively speaking, but I did have the barbecue sauce in my hair,” he said on a recent episode of his TLC reality show The Baldwins.

The 30 Rock star also opened up about his court case following the 2021 death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of the film Rust. Alec was charged with involuntary manslaughter and faced a criminal trial, but the charges were dismissed in 2024.
