The Joker may be The Dark Knight’s most iconic nemesis, but the Penguin is one of his most memorable. Ever since Danny DeVito climbed from the sewers of Gotham with his flippered hands and black drool oozing down his chin, Oswald Cobblepot has held a place on the Mount Rushmore of live-action Batman villain portrayals. Colin Farrell’s turn as the iconic character couldn’t be more different from the twisted version audiences saw in Tim Burton’s Batman Returns, but its equally as effective.
