Sony’s Spider-Man Universe (Ssu) continues to grow, with the 2018 film “Venom” paving the way for its expansion. A second sequel is set to release in 2024, featuring Tom Hardy reprising his role as the iconic Symbiote. Last summer, anticipated productions, particularly superhero-related ones, were disrupted by the longest SAG-AFTRA strike in Hollywood’s history, spanning 118 days.

Both the Ssu and MCU faced delays, with numerous projects awaiting development. However, following the strike’s resolution, both parties reached favorable agreements. Subsequently, it was revealed that production for “Venom 3” would resume, with a new release date scheduled for November 8, 2024. Yesterday’s announcement unveiled the title of the final installment in the ‘Venom’ franchise as ‘Venom: The Last Dance,’ with an earlier release date moved up to October 5, 2024.
