Gamefam and Paramount Games Studio have partnered to bring the yellow sponge who lives in a pineapple under the sea to Roblox for the first time. As part of the 25th anniversary of Nickelodeon’s “SpongeBob SquarePants” franchise, the new game “SpongeBob Simulator” will be available on Jan. 26 to Roblox’s 70 million-plus daily users.

“Deepening the connection with fans of our hit franchises through interactive and immersive experiences is a key facet of our long-term gaming strategy,” Doug Rosen, senior VP of games and emerging media at Paramount said. “We’re excited to let fans step into Bikini Bottom and participate in the universe in a completely new way, and Gamefam’s expertise in creating and managing high-quality and engaging Roblox worlds makes them the ideal partner for us to expand into new horizons.”
