Markiplier‘s directorial debut has moved one step closer to its theatrical release. The creator known for his gaming videos has shared a teaser trailer for Iron Lung, an adaptation of the video game of the same name.

Iron Lung is a horror game in which players encounter terrifying horrors within a subnautical environment. Markiplier (real name Mark Fischbach) played the game on his channel shortly after its release. His YouTube channel reaches more than 35 million subscribers, and it has picked up over 20 billion lifetime views to date.

In April of this year, Markiplier revealed that he would write, direct, and co-produce an Iron Lung film adaptation. The Ohio native is financing the picture out of his own pocket, with Will Hyde and Jeff Guerrero serving as co-producers. The cast will include Markiplier himself as well as Caroline Rose Kaplan.
