Channel 4 to relaunch on-demand service 4oD as All 4
Channel 4 has announced plans to relaunch 4oD as a new service called All 4.
All 4 will include all of Channel 4's digital content, channels and services in one place, and will launch in early 2015.
The new user interface will allow viewers to select programmes On Demand (past), Now (present) and On Soon (future).
All 4 will launch on PC and iOS devices at first, before being extended to other digital platforms later in 2015.
Channel 4's catch-up shows and archive programmes will be available via On Demand, along with other related programme information such as cast interviews and galleries.
The Now service will feature live broadcasts from all Channel 4 channels, as well as links to interactive content, news clips and social media feeds.
Finally, On Soon will include new programme clips and promos, along with exclusive episode premieres before they air on TV.
