Drew Struzan coming out of retirement for Star Wars Episode 7 poster
Legendary poster artist Drew Struzan will reportedly come out of retirement to create the artwork for Star Wars Episode VII.
Struzan's striking paintings were used for each of the previous six Star Wars movies. He has also provided posters for the Back to the Future and Indiana Jones series.
The American artist announced his retirement from professional art in 2008 after completing work on Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull.
However, he has continued to produce new works since, including a recent Comic-Con poster for How to Train Your Dragon 2.
According to Schmoes Know, Episode VII director Jj Abrams has persuaded Struzan to come back to the space sage to create new artwork.
Struzan was the subject of the 2010 documentary Drew: The Man Behind the Poster, which featured interviews with Harrison Ford, George Lucas, Frank Darabont, Guillermo del Toro and Steven Spielberg.
