Constantin Film, producers of "The Mortal Instruments : City of Bones" will develop a prequel to the film, adapting the 3-part series, "The Infernal Devices", by author Cassandra Clare.

Featuring the ancestors of "The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones" characters, "Infernal Devices" is divided into 3 books: "Clockwork Angel", "Clockwork Prince" and "Clockwork Princess":
