Exclusive: Activist Artists Management has signed Chilean actress Renata González Spralja (The Wave) for representation, with Bernie Cahill and Justin Deanda to run point for the new client.

Most recently, Spralja wrapped production on The Wave (La Ola), a musical feature directed by Oscar and Goya winner Sebastián Lelio (A Fantastic Woman). Produced by Pablo Larraín’s Fabula, the film inspired by a true story from 2018 tells the story of a Chilean student who gets involved in a feminist movement on her university. Suddenly, she finds herself becoming a central figure in the movement.

Previously, Spralja worked with Larraín and Fabula on Llévame al Cielo (Take Me to Heaven), the first Chilean Disney+ series, which is slated for release worldwide this year. She made her screen debut opposite Giancarlo Esposito in Blackbird, a four-episode English-language marketing miniseries produced by Fabula for Nissan, and continues to be represented by Constanza Arena...

Vlog Squad member Scotty Sire has taken the next step in his music career, signing with indie rock label Fearless Records.

Sire, who rose to fame on Vine and now counts 10 million collective social followers, has garnered over 135 million Spotify streams to date. In tandem with the signing, Sire has released a new track titled "25 Christmas Trees,” featuring his best friend and fellow Vlog Squad member Toddy Smith. (The music video drops tomorrow at 2 pm Et on Sire's YouTube channel). That said, more information about Sire’s official debut under Fearless’ auspices will be announced soon, the label said.

Twenty-six-year-old Fearless Records currently reps the likes of Pierce the Veil, I Prevail, August Burns Red, Underoath, The Pretty Reckless, and Starset. The label rose to renown thanks to the multi-platinum-selling Plain White T's, who scored a worldwide hit with "Hey There Delilah" in 2006.

New York – It was three hours since show time on Friday (April 13) and the crowd at the Irving Plaza had grown impatient. Even though the strikingly blue-lit venue had been appetized by the likes of opening acts The Parlor Mob, The Blackboard Nails and The Hollywood Kills, the jam-packed crowd were ready for The Pretty Reckless.

Irving's lights shaded black and each of the four-member act individually took to the stage for their latest "The Medicine Tour" show, but the obvious avalanche of applause was for Taylor Momsen, the 18-year-old actress-turned-rocker. In a matching black dress, jacket and knee-high spiked boots, the frontwoman took hold of the mic and began what would be a 12-song set that would further erase any remnants of her former good girl-turned-bad-turned-good character on "Gossip Girl," beginning with the band's first tune, "Hit Me Like A Man," the same title as their recently-released Ep.

The 18 year old took an extended hiatus from the hit TV series last year to tour with her rock band The Pretty Reckless, but she was expected to return as a guest star on future episodes.

Backstage after her set at Tokyo's Summer Sonic music festival, the 17-year-old told Elle that she "quit acting" forever.

The actress/model/singer has been spending some time in the studio but is unsure if it's going to turn into something concrete.

"So whether it's a new album or, I don't know exactly, we just write the songs and record them and everyone else decides what to do with them!"

Lollapalooza 2011 over the weekend was a huge success. Featuring Coldplay, Muse, Cee-Lo Green, Ok Go and more, the music festival drew a record attendance of 270000 flooding Grant Park in Chicago. Around 90,000 people came to the gig each day.

The youngster, always been at the center of controversy, the original Gossip Girl star will not be back as a series regular on the show's upcoming fifth season.

New York, July 8: "Gossip Girl" actress Taylor Momsen gave a raunchy performance during a Barcelona concert with her band, The Pretty Reckless, on Wednesday.

The 17-year-old was grinding in the lap of a young female fan, as half-dressed girls danced around her onstage, reports the New York Daily News.

Later when she stood up to sing, another girl groped her breasts, but Momsen.

Before delivering the racy performance on Wednesday night, July 6 , the 17-year-old songstress invited a group of female fans to the stage and told them to take off their top. She then danced wildly with the mob while singing. At one point, she even allowed one of the fans to grope her breasts.
