Co-wrote and recorded the song "Obsession", with Michael Des Barres for the film Ein himmlischer Lümmel (1983) . Holly & Michael's version of the song was never released as a single, but a few years later it was a big hit for Animotion
Wrote songs "(Simply) the Best" and "Better Be Good to Me" that were recorded by Tina Turner. "The Best" (1989) went on to become a Turner anthem having been earlier turned down by British pop star Paul Young.
