Has a son, Jayden Mölling (born 27 March 2009), by her former long-time friend and manager Renick Bernadina, whom she split from in 2008.

Each No Angels member was initially being "assigned" one specific element and persona, similar to the Spice Girls' individual images. While none of the members were regarded as having icy personalities, Sandy was chosen to represent ice due to her light hair color and to symbolize that ice can also melt.

The No Angels' "elements" personas can be observed in the European video for "Daylight in Your Eyes", which was the group's first ever music video. The group had major input regarding hairstyles and outfits in the video as well as ideas for future performances. This caused some minor disagreements, as they were also tasked with suggesting fashion choices for each other.

Fellow former No Angels member Nadja Benaissa is almost exactly one year younger than her to the day, having been born on 26 April 1982. They were also the only two members who were still in their teens when the group was put together.

Her birth name is indeed Sandy and not Sandra as many sources claim.

Her mother, a nurse, and her father, an engineer, divorced when she was 6. After that, she lived with her mother, stepfather (who died in 2005) and siblings.

After her Realschulabschluss, she initially continued her education at a Gymnasium for four months but later dropped out and started vocational training as a retail saleswoman.

Has got the 2nd Place in the 5th season of The Masked Singer Germany (2019) as Caterpillar 'Resi'.
