Truly great film. I was amazed to sit through this thinking that I knew nothing of this period in Germany's history, which is odd considering the size and impact of the events. From the beginning with the riot scenes during the visit of the Shah of Persia, I was gripped. The performances are first class across the cast (and Moritz Bleibtreu is very pleasing on the eye) and the recreation of the era is fantastic.But for for me this film is lesson in history, and unlike most history lessons, a fascinating one.

Stunning debut film. Great psychological thriller more than a horror gore fest.

This is another highly praised film. But you know, although I thought it was good, I also thought it was too long and a little boring. The cast is fine, tho Cate Blanchett has very little to do and gael Garcia Bernal seemed a little typecast. When I saw the trailer for this i had goosebumps. It gave me the impression of a fast paced drama, but the film itself was slow and didnt have any of the tension caused by the shooting that the trailer suggested. I did enjoy the segments set in Japan but other than that I think I may be one of the few people who didnt enjoy this as much as everyone else.

Take four new born babies, one in Mongolia, one in Kenya, one in Tokyo and one in San Fransico, allow unprecendented access during the children's first year, do away with narration or even translation's of what the adults are saying and let the cameras role and you have documentary smash hit Babies.

This charming film, is so very simple in it's idea and yet presents a fascinating story which only the the most cold hearted would not find endearing. Allowing the cameras to just sit back and role means that the adventures of these four children range from the usual to the hilarious; for them, around them is an entire and huge world beckoning for exploration. Despite the very different cultural backgrounds of the four,there is little difference in the way they see the world.

Also among their world are an array of animals, cats for instance feature in 3 of the families and often providing some very funny and oh so cute moments, such as Bayer in Mongolia patted the cat rather too firmly. Watching these moments seems to highlight a connection between the animals and the babies, something of an understanding and it's fascinating to watch.

As is the whole film; and remarkable considering for much of the time, these bundles of joy don't really do much, but nothing in turn never fails to enlighten, amuse and enrich.

Pretty enjoyable comedy. Poehler and Fey are superb comedians.

not normally my cup of tea. Only watched it as I like to watch all Oscar nommed films. The beauty pageant was the only thing I laughed at.

Little April Shadows is a highlight.

I liked the concept of this film and the opening scenes, where the TV crew filmed the live assassination of the president showed promised. But I just didn't find it very funny. At all.

Enjoyable film, with some nice performances and music.

Excellent film, often very funny but touching as well. Didn't know it was part of a trilogy. Stands alone well.
