- The script focuses on the work of police officers from the special Organized Crime Unit (OCU). This starts off as an experiment, but quickly becomes a regular unit of the Wroclaw Police Headquarters targeting mafias, especially those from the post-Soviet countries. One mafia boss, Sergey, wages a ruthless war against OCU. The officers and their families face constant danger. Sergey dies, but it does not solve their problems. Other dangerous players, like Little Odessa, headed by the Russian dignitary Kola, enter the fray. Kidnappings, blackmails and killings are the name of the game.
- The series presents the fate of two heroines - one living in the modern capital and the other: living in interwar Warsaw. The diary of Maria Kielicz, which accidentally falls into the hands of a young architecture student, Zosia, is the clamp that binds two women's stories together. Along with its pages, a story about dilemmas, ambitions and romantic choices of women looking for the truth about themselves develops. Zosia discovers the story of her great-grandmother. In 1936, Maria, a single mother with a degree in architecture, comes to the interwar capital to start a new life. In Warsaw, a woman becomes Jan Wedel's assistant. She quickly becomes his trusted employee and confidant of the secrets of the most thriving chocolate factory in Europe.
