- Monk Arsenije, once a Belgradian cult figure from the '80s who has been living as a monk for the past 30 years, is engaged in restoring and creating a spiritual and cultural center in the Monastery of Ribnica, central Serbia.
- Savo, a South African by birth, first visited Serbia, the country of his parents' origin in 2010, meeting for the first time, cousins, aunts, uncles and his half-sister. Since then he has returned 14 times, learning more about his family's history and that of the country. In 2017, he decided to document his journey. The documentary traces his father's roots, the origins of the family from Bosnia in the mid 1700's to their settlement up in the mountains of Stance, a village just outside of Kraljevo, sometime later. The documentary also looks at Serbian life today, both the cultural and religious practises that make it unique, told through the rich history of the town that is credited with the formation of the Serbian culture. Kraljevo is the only town in Serbia where 7 kings were crowned and or entered the doors of the main church over the last 800 years. The English translation for the name Kraljevo is Kings town. Savo takes us on a journey of self-discovery, as he speaks to family members, the community of Kraljevo, religious institutes and artists. This is a Serbian journey of faith, family, and connection.
