- The documentary Vozes do E!: Feminine Autonomy shows, through experiences, that there are several ways to exercise autonomy and improve women's mental health in the face of the demands of contemporary life. Three women participate in three experiments that will put them in touch with their souls and their destiny. These women seek, like everyone else, to be protagonists of their own lives and believe that there are different ways to access and produce balance and knowledge. The documentary uses science, meditation and body therapies to show that female identities are multiple and autonomy is a fundamental part of well-being. The first experiment is an orgasm therapy session. Writer Clara Corleone meets sex therapist Preta Kiran and tarot reader Pamela Ribeiro. Together they look at what the mind and body say about sexuality. Would it be possible to dissociate thought and body when the subject is pleasure? In the second experiment, cultural producer Laís Sampaio meets psychiatrist and neuroscientist Natália Mota, a specialist in dream analysis. Laís is the mother of a baby and has always given a lot of importance to her dreams. However, with night breastfeeding, she no longer dreams. In a welcoming conversation, Natália shows how dreams can help us in the challenges of our lives. The third experiment is an active meditation practice. Singer Rebecca will perform at Rock in Rio Lisbon. It is the first time that she has produced a show of this size and she has to decide on artistic and technical details. On the eve of the show, she faces a challenge: would it be possible to reduce stress days before the presentation? Therapist Mariana Figueiredo brings active meditation as a resource for releasing high tension loads.
- Fashion, sustainability, and storytelling. Alexandre Herchcovitch upcycles clothes, crafting unique looks. Celebrities and anonymous donors exchange garments for new styles, revealing interconnected life experiences.
- How do women see themselves portrayed in the media? How has the entertainment industry been representing them in different types of media? Through a social experiment gathering women from different backgrounds, the doc-style reality entitled Vozes allows these very same women to be the voice of this story telling how they see themselves, how they feel about this, how they express their emotions, at the same time that it leads us into a deep reflection on freedom, equality and gender equity.
