- Kasper's parents are divorced. Every other weekend he takes the train between Jutland and the capital with a group of other children. Kasper finds it difficult to make friends, but he has a talent for rapping and it gives him a strong connection with another outsider Tobias, who makes music on his computer. On the train the two boys make a rap CD for a pretty girl named Marie. It turns out that her father is a famous judge on a popular talent show on television. That opens up new opportunities for boys, but it also creates jealousy among the popular kids in the railway car.
- Kasper and Tobias try to write a new romantic song, but get disturbed by Pil and Magnus. When Kasper's had enough, they decide to make the song tougher.
- Kasper and Tobias become unpopular with the girls after they call Marie a 'bitch'.
- Marie has told Kasper that she's writing songs but he can't convince her to sing. Pil and Magnus believe that Kasper is just saying Marie can sing because he's in love with her.
- Marie wants the band to have a unique style. Rikke is practicing on her recorder and gets bullied by Pil and Magnus. To cheer her up, Kasper suggests she can join the band.
- Pendlerkids have gained unexpected success on YouTube. Kasper and Tobias are impressed with their success, Marie not so much.
- Steve has invited Pendlerkids to join 'Stjernejagt', however Marie does not want to participate. Marie fears that her father will ruin all she likes about the band.
- Kasper and Marie get in an argument with Pil, and the three of them end up left on a station.
- Pendlerkids have agreed to participate in 'Stjernejagt' and Steve wants them to perform live on 'Aftenshowet'. They start to practice for the show, but figure out they do not know how to perform.
- Pendlerkids are finally ready to participate in 'Stjernejagt'. When Ole confiscates their contract the kids have to make a sophisticated plan to get it back.
- Pil has joined Pendlerkids, and is trying to take control of the band. She convinces the others to exclude Rikke from the band.
- Bound for Copenhagen the kids prepare for performing in 'Aftenshowet', however tension between Marie and Pil is getting out of control.
- Pendlerkids have arrived in Copenhagen, ready to perform in 'Aftenshowet'. Marie has left the band, because Pil has spoiled the fun. Kasper has to choose between the dream and his friendship with Marie.
- Kasper has big news: He is moving to New York, so he is forced to quit the band. But how do you tell that to your friends? Especially when an exciting new kid is starting on the train. And Ole has acquired a big concert for the Commuter Kids.
- Pil, Magnus and Lucas have stolen the concert on the 'Vilde Vulkaner' festival. Marie is determined to get it back, so Kasper cannot figure out how to tell her that he is quitting the band. Steve appears to have a solution, which means that Kasper can keep his secret.
- Steve has arranged a meeting with the organizer of the festival, so that the 'real' Pendlerkids can get the concert back from Pil, Magnus and Lucas. Due to change of plans the Pendlerkids have to improvise to get to meet the organizer.
- Pil claims that Marie has pushed her and now her foot is broken. Marie risks eviction from the train unless Ole can figure out what really happened. Luckily Rikke has a plan.
- There is a short time to the audition and Pendlerkids has an urgent need for time to practice. Sadly Ole has decided to teach the kids some basic music theory. Rikke decides to rebel, but that only makes matters worse.
- Ole has realized that he needs help to educate the kids on the train. He has hired Simon Kwamm as tutor. To begin with all the kids are excited to be taught by a big star, but it turns out that Simon Kwamm is a lot worse than Ole.
- Pil gives Pendlerkids an ultimatum: Either sell the name 'Pendlerkids' to her or they get sued by her dads lawyer. This cause some disagreement in the group: most feel that they should sell the name, but Marie won't give in.
- Tobias finds out that Kasper is moving to USA and is now mad that Kasper has not told him sooner. Kasper tries to persuade Tobias to keep the secret. Meanwhile Pil discovers that the comedian Simon Talbot is on-board the train.
- Sofie, host on DR Ultra, is on-board the train. She is preparing a feature on the two bands that are competing to be the ones to perform on the 'Vilde Vulkaner' festival. Both Kasper and Pil fight to be performing in the feature.
- Marie is impressed with the song Lucas performed on TV. Kasper thinks that Lucas is fake so he decides to show Lucas that he is better at writing romantic songs than him. Marie is unaware of Kaspers plan and she misunderstands his romantic signals.
- Kasper is in a panic after the kiss from Marie. Tobias and Rikke try to convince him to acknowledge his feelings towards Marie. Marie feels rejected and seeks comfort from Lucas. When Kasper finally realizes that he needs to get his act together it may be too late.
- Kasper is offended that Marie has been singing with Lucas. It is not getting better when he catches Lucas, Pil and Magnus planning to take over Pendlerkids. When he tries to tell his friends they just think that he is getting paranoid.
- The day for the big audition has arrived but Kasper's mom has advanced their departure for USA. Kasper doesn't know what to to. When everyone in the the train is mad that he hit Lucas, he decides to leave Pendlerkids and head for New York.
- Pendlerkids are a mess. Kasper and Tobias are at the airport. Meanwhile the rest of the kids are on the train to Vordingborg to perform at the 'Vilde Vulkaner' festival. There's problems with the train signals so they will arrive too late to perform unless Ole can pull some strings.
- Kasper won't leave for New York without apologizing to Marie, but it is a long way from the airport to Vordingborg. When Pendlerkids are ready to go on stage on 'Vilde Vulkaner', Lucas has completely taken over the show. Will Kasper make it before the concert is over?
- Steve has convinced Ole that the Pendlerkids need to use viral marketing. Pil lets the original Pendlerkids make the video, because she knows that they are not getting along.
- Ole is trying various kinds of therapy to make the Pendlerkids get along. Steve has found a superstar that he believes can be a good mentor for the kids, but Ole is obstructing his plan.
- Ole announces that whoever writes the best song, will get the chance to play it on the radio. Rikke offers to assist Kasper with writing a song, since he is having trouble coming up with new material.
- Pendlerkids are going on the radio and Kasper hasn't written the song he promised. He used to write to impress Marie, but now he can't figure out what to write about.
- Rumours spread that DSB is going to close the kids' train service. Marie is furious and wants to speak to the DSB management. In the meantime Ole has gotten the kids an interview in the DSB magazine, and hired a professional stylist to make a photo shoot.
- The DSB-boss has confirmed that the kids' wagon will be closed if "the new DSB" is adopted. Steve has made a sweet deal with DSB - the kids are picked up in a limousine, and go shopping.
- Pendlerkids have to perform for the DSB-boss. For the special occasion Ole is dressed in his best uniform. Ole has been laid off as part of "the new DSB". He says that he is happy not to be in charge of all the brats anymore.
- Everyone is mad at Marie for ruining their gig for DSB. Steve offers Kasper the job as a solo gig without the rest of the Pendlerkids.
- Kasper is going on TV alone. During the rehearsal Kasper learns that it is not a lack of kids that is causing the cuts.
