- Philanthropic young scientist Victor Frankenstein,in a research project to conquer disease,has fashioned a creature out of parts of human anatomy but it is less perfect than he had hoped and flees to live among the derelicts of Leeds.The creature has told Frankenstein that he is lonely and wants a mate and will return in a year on the understanding that Frankenstein will have made her for him.
