- Bebel, a brilliant 15-year-old wheelchair-bound girl, moves from the country to the big city to attend a new school. As she connects with classmates through her leadership on today's environmental issues, she upsets the popular students.

Abelardo captivates people with his sincerity and friendliness. This is a nice story of the difficult job of a projectionist.

With Cecilia and their son Boni flees to Algeria and later to Paris, where he is elected President of the Comitê Brasileiro da Luta pela Anistia (Brazilian Committee of the Fight for Amnesty). He returns to Brazil nine years after being banned.
