- Blind Carbon Copy is a modern, cautionary comedy about the relationship between people and the technology they rely on to communicate. When the power mysteriously drops out in a computer firm, the inhabitants are thrust into a foreign situation where they must interact directly. Without the comforts of digital anonimity, they are helpless to do much but bumble their way through a maze of new and awkward problems. E-mail and digital networks have rendered these colleagues virtual strangers to each other.
- "Missing Person" is the story of an estrangement-- told through the unreliable recollections of the abandoned man, Eddie. His wife Maria is missing. The key mystery is the capacity in which she may, or may not, be gone. Eddie is, figuratively speaking, as lost as his wife it seems and our two investigating detectives, Schmidt and Milton, are left, like the audience, to put together the pieces of his patchwork narrative. Things unravel like a poorly told lie until the story, like Eddie himself, no longer holds together.
- A prison chain gang digs two fresh graves for men destined to be executed that night. As time slips away for the murderers' salvation, the grave diggers' mixed reactions to the grim task split them apart and unravel the progress. The supervising boss is obliged to act and, himself, lead the group through the awful task and morally justify the indifferent nature of the world.
- A sobering "documentary" about the plight of a homeless man soon becomes an parody of a filmmaker with a subject he's unable to contain into his expectations of a street person. Soon the camera turns on itself-- the bum transforms into the grounding leader, the crew become cast, the intended story unravels, sound splits from picture, and the director's initial vision becomes the most unreal thing about the documentary.
