- A mouse and his boss pose as dogcatchers and grab a schoolhouse full of dogs; they use several other ruses to round up dogs for, as we discover, a sausage factory. Alice and Julius are on the trail soon after the first caper, but it takes them a while to catch up with the bad guys. They do, and Julius tricks the big boss into getting clobbered by the sausage guy, then turns the dogs loose on him.
- Jack Logan is the heir to half of a map to a hidden Indian mine. The trader and villain Jean Gregg sends his chief henchman Mack to make life difficult for Jack. Jack is aided in his quest by the heirs to the other half of the map: Helen Holt and her younger brother Billy, and by a uniformed mystery man known as "The Mystery Trooper".
- Alice, at the beach with her cat, tries to solve a crossword puzzle, when Woodleg Pete, a ruthless collector of rare crossword puzzles, sees that Alice's one is missing in his collection. But while trying to steal it, he did not include Alice's cat in his calculation...
- Blackie Saunders and his young partner Sandy arrive in Indian Springs where Blackie meets his old friend Jim whom he once rode with on the wrong side of the law. Jim is now the Parson but Blackie still carries the reputation of a killer. When the townspeople decide Blackie is not a fit guardian for the boy, Jim convinces Blackie to leave the boy with him. But just after Blackie leaves town, the express office is robbed and it is assumed Blackie did it.
- Julius the cat is skating on a pond when he espies a young lady break through the ice. He saves her, only to realize she's not particularly attractive, and so throws her back. Meanwhile, a kitten orphan is left in a basket by the side of the pond; Julius discovers it and takes it skating with him, afterward taking it home to Alice. They name him Oscar, and Julius tries to give the brat a bath. He then feeds Oscar and teaches him some table manners.
- Comedy of Jewish domestic life depicts an impecunious old man who is to inherit a legacy if he can prove he is in need. He begins to gamble with his savings, but things don't seem to work in his favor.
- A young girl is being tried for murder. Her defense attorney attempts to show how her descent into a life of crime, prostitution and degradation was caused by her puritanical, religious fanatic mother.
- Private detective Donegal Dawn, is summoned by the police commissioner to solve the reasons for a crime wave in Chinatown, and scoffs at the official ruling on tong-killings. His friend, Robert Rand, has has fallen for Zenobia, a clerk at Chan Tow Ling;s curio shop. Dawn tells Robert that their live would be in peril if he tries to take Zenobia away from Chinatown. That night, Robert breaks into the shop's cellar where he hears strange music and voices, and sees a weird ceremony in which (the mesmerized) Zenobia officiates as a priestess. Robert is captured by the worshipers. Dawn tracks the sinister "Order of the Black Rober" but can not find a trace of Robert, Zenobia or the cultists.
- An ex-convict, unable to get a good job because of his prison record, gets mixed up in a phony stock scam.
- Alice is kidnapped by Chinese Gangsters and brought to Chinatown. Her cat tries (successfully) to rescue her, but then they're hunted by a bunch of angry Chinese Triad members.
- Three cowboys try to stop a crook from defrauding an orphan girl out of her money.
- A federal agent poses as a criminal to infiltrate a gang of parolees seeking vengeance on the lawmen who jailed them.
- Little Alice and Julius the cat operate an egg factory. The hens are a bit lazy, but Julius cracks the whip. An out-of-town chicken arrives, only she's a labour agitator, Little Red Henski from Moscow, Russia, who comes courtesy of the I.W.W. Soon she has the hens striking for "shorter hours" and "smaller eggs". Alice and Julius need to fill an urgent egg order. They spot two roosters fighting. They organize a pugilistic event, and charge each hen one egg admission. Alice and Julius fill their order and drive away ... but the load slips off, breaking all the eggs.
- Horses are being stolen by a white stallion known as "The Phantom of the Desert." A cowboy sets out to find who's behind it.
- After Bob Lansing (Jay Wilsey as Buffalo Bill Jr). is involved in a nightclub scrape, where he meets Montana rancher Madge Holt (Allene Ray)), his father sends him out west with his chauffeur Ben (Ben Corbett). In Montana, they are mistaken for rustlers Dick (Tom London) and Jim (Yakima Canutt), and Bob again meets Madge, who recognizes him but wishes to make things difficult for him.
- Alice leaves her home and has asked her cat to take care of the house. But the rats are trying to keep the cat out of their way, especially, when they discover Alice's home-brew, it is not that difficult...
- Julius is a lifeguard at the beach, where he meets and falls in love with a beautiful female cat. Alice decides to help out by driving the car when the two decide to elope.
- To stop the rustling of Hicks, Martin turns to the Cattlemen's Assiciation. They send undercover agent Drexel who sets a trap for the gang. But Drexel's partner Van Wiley, posing as a dude, lets their identity become known putting them in jeopardy.
- O'Brien, negotiating sale of his rancho, is killed by Seagrue, who takes possession under the name of Serrano. Years later, O'Brien's son, Dan, avenges his dad's death.
- A rich garbage magnate (Ima Hogg) is being driven along to a hotel, run by Alice and her cat Julius. The hotel has seen better times, and so the two are thrilled when they see the limousine roll up. Hogg demands a barber and a manicurist, and Julius feels he's up to the job. He does his best to please the grouch, with mixed results.
- The neighborhood kids are putting on a production of Uncle Tom's Cabin. When the director demands more snow for a scene, he tries to shave the ice himself and accidentally drops it on Alice's head. She is knocked into a dream world where she and Julius the cat build a snowman and fire snowballs at targets. Unfortunately the landlord (a bear reminiscent of Simon Legree) happens by at this time and threatens to take away their cabin. Julius and the landlord end up dueling with icicles, and mayhem ensues, ending with Alice and Julius' cabin falling into a partially frozen river towards a waterfall.
- Alice and Julius, as a team, are one of four entrants in a $10,000 balloon race. The bad guy takes out one balloon quickly. It's not clear what kind of balloons these are, since they are sealed like hydrogen/helium balloons, but a good thwack on the top by the bad guy sends Alice and Julius plummeting to the ground, balloon still intact. Julius makes some attempts to re-launch, but they fail. He spots a hippo, smoking nearby, and has an idea: using some pepper, he creates a massive sneeze that re-launches them. But he wasn't onboard. Alice throws down a rope ladder, but it isn't anchored; Julius eventually pulls himself up with a rope. They are then immediately under attack by a lightning storm, which deflates the balloon. Julius makes substitutes from, first, a weiner dog and a couple of empty thought balloons, then, an elephant with extra air pumped in. He grabs a passing bird and catches up to the bad guy, then finds himself in another battle with lightning. He throws a bolt at the bad guy's balloon, then has his own elephant get pierced by another. They land on top of each other, and on Alice, who was pacing back and forth on the ground, then run away from the bad guy.
- A cowboy (played by Bob Custer) in search of adventure comes to the aid of another in a saloon brawl; they both are chased out of town and find refuge with a gang of rustlers. Rescuing a wealthy girl in an automobile accident, Custer brings her to the gang's headquarters and defends her from the leader's advances. Fights and double-crosses precede a happy ending for the couple.
- A 1933 British Production based on the novel by Pierre Louys' "The Adventures of King Pausole", a fantasy based on a theme of King Solomon and his many wives. Good King Pausole (Emil Jannings) selects a wife for every day in the year, but the one played by 'Sidney Fox' protests when he spends her day searching for his favorite daughter who has eloped with a visiting airman stranded in the kingdom. He comes from a modern and different world and this gives Queen for a Day some ideas about how to make her title a lasting one.
- Alice, Julius, and one other character are in a combined auto/horse race. Julius gets off to a bad start when his car takes off, without him, in the wrong direction; it takes him a while to get it straightened out. Alice and the bad guy battle a bit for the lead, which Alice takes; they pass a detour, which the bad guy changes the sign for. Julius, taking the bad road, eventually drives up a cliff and, after a mighty struggle at the top, makes it, in third place, to the changeover. Alice and the bad guy ride off on horses; Julius has a wind-up wooden horse. Julius' horse keeps breaking down, eventually losing the back legs (Julius uses an empty thought balloon to hold up the rear). Alice's horse jumps a fence, and won't continue. The bad guy looks like he'll win, but Alice makes a mighty leap and knocks him off to win the race.
- Brokaw, the Polka Dot Bandit, asks Farrell to help rob Wells Fargo. Farrell plans to capture Brokaw for the reward but is assumed to be one of the bandits and shot. Brent captures Brokaw, but Ann thinking her father is in on the robbery lets him go. Brent catches up with him only to be framed when the polka dot bandanna is found on his saddle.
- Drew Halliday, stage driver, is abashed when the little girl he admires returns from finishing school a beautiful young woman. When a sporty gambler and saloon keeper forces his attentions on the young lady, Drew comes to her defense. Because of his courageous handling of the gambler, Drew is elected sheriff. He acquires more responsibility when he takes Hela for his wife after her father dies. Soon afterward her brother is jailed for a murder that the gambler committed. The gambler again makes advances toward Hela: this time he is caught by his own girl, who in a rage shoots him. Hela is accused of the killing; Drew takes the blame; but when the woman confesses all, the innocent are freed.
- An old rancher is accused of a murder that was actually committed by a killer called The Laramie Kid. The rancher's son sets out to track the real killer down.
- Alice and Julius the cat are riding an elephant through the jungle. Julius falls and is nearly eaten by crocodiles but manages to escape nevertheless. Meanwhile, two elephant children are having fun at a watering hole and a monkey barber has his barber pole eaten by a hippo, who mistakes it for a candy cane. Julius tries to remedy the latter injustice by starching up a tiger's striped tail and knocking it off, using it as a replacement pole. Alice hunts a lion who proves to be too much for her to handle, but Julius bravely comes to the rescue.
- It's mayhem in the house as Julius the cat squares off against a pugilistic bear while Alice looks on adoringly.
- U. S. Customs Agent Tom Evans is given the assignment of running down a smuggling ring which hijacks Canadian fur-shipper's trucks and sells the loot in the United States.
- Outlaw trio joins wagon train, planning to rob it.
- The express company had been robbed and a man is caught and sent to prison but the loot is not recovered. The company sends an investigator who soon suspects the convicted man is innocent and only covering for the guilty culprit.
- In a trapper's cabin, Sergeant Stone finds a fellow Mountie murdered and is given the assignment of locating the killer. He finds Tom who was at the cabin and his fingerprints match those on the gun. But Stone thinks Tom was framed and one of the two other men present is guilty. So he gets the Inspector to employ an old trick he thinks will get a confession from them.
- Julius the cat is chasing a rabbit. The rabbit escapes down one of a pair of holes, and teases the cat for a while; the cat finally catches the rabbit by leaving his face to watch one hole and his body at the other. The rabbit pleads for mercy: think of her poor children. Julius breaks down, and the rabbit laughs at him (after powdering her nose with her own tail). Julius chases the rabbit into her hole, where she grows larger and chases him out. Alice appears, carrying a rifle, and helps the cat by dragging over a fire hose and putting it down one hole, thus flushing out the rabbit. We then see several forest creatures playing instruments and dancing; most notably, two bears dance. Alice fires at one bear; she hits, then misses for a while, then hits again, but there is no lasting effect to the bear, which then chases them. Alice and her friends hide in a barrel under a beehive; the bear knocks the hive into the barrel. They try to escape in a lake without luck.
- A gang of racketeers, with the aid of a high-ranking city official has control of a big-city, and the police plant an undercover cop to gather evidence against the hoodlums - except the police keep telling the wrong person what they are up to.
- Alice and Julius are riding along on a turtle until they notice someone has left a pie to cool on their third-storey window sill. They swipe it with the aid of the turtle and his elongated neck, but are pursued by a police officer. They try to paddle away across a pond and up a river, but the officer's determined to catch them. He tricks them into his paddy wagon and they end up in prison, where the hijinks continue with a daring jail break.
- Clay Norton and Duke Fuller are partners in a mining venture and have several claims, none of which have proved particularly successfully but do have promise. They are both in love with Agnes, and Clay wins her hand. While he is away in a nearby town to buy a wedding ring, Jim Butts, who has the territory's best mine, dies and Duke jumps his claim and sells it for $10,000, and the widow Butts is left penniless. When Clay, on his return, finds out what Duke has done, he demands his partnership share of $5,000 and tells Duke that they should see the widow and give her the money to go East so she will cause them no trouble. They visit her together and Clay tells her he will give her $5,000 and forces Duke to do the same. Overcome with the shock of the good fortune, the widow faints, and Duke, furious at being tricked, rushes from the cabin and meets Agnes, who is on her way to meet Clay. He takes her to the door of the cabin where she sees the widow Butts in the arms of her sweetheart. Misunderstanding the situation and being told by Duke that Clay is unfaithful to her, she breaks off their engagement.
- The leader of a group of singing Boy Scouts tries to get them into the "big time". When the Scouts lose the lease on their building, he comes up with an idea to raise funds to buy the building: put on a musical show.
- A Major Seabury, who is negotiating the purchase of maverick horses for the Army, stops at Helen's ranch, where considerable action and danger lead to the disclosure of a plot to cheat the government. Jack, a neighboring rancher, discovers the real major in the custody of the confederates of Helen's foreman, Bull, who planned to cash the vouchers for the horses.
- Escaping from the Sheriff, Jim and Cookie decide to go straight. But when they meet their old cohort, The Blanco Kid, he tells their new boss they are outlaws and they are in trouble again.
- Jack Hardy, Sr., sends his son West to make a man of him. Jack falls in love with Miss Benson, ranch secretary. Taunted by the girl, he breaks an intractable horse to prove his courage. When Tex Fuller and his gang try to get Jack, Deerfoot, his half-breed brother, takes the missiles intended for his brother. Jack fights the gang and brings them to justice. But Miss Benson is not yet won. She thinks of the girl back East to whom Jack was engaged. Jack's father arrives and announces that he is engaged to the Eastern girl. Miss Benson surrenders.
- A border saloon - half in California, half in Nevada - is a hangout for frontier gangs.
- Mysterious bandit has been holding up express shipments from the ranches. The girl's father has a partner who is really the villain, saving the hero who of course is suspected of being the bandit.
- While Julius is milking his cow, Pete kidnaps Alice. Julius gives chase, and winds up in a duel with Pete.
- Alice and Julius are driving a train, which is carrying a large payroll. Pete the Bear and his gang find out about it and devise a plan to rob the train.
- A little girl presides as general over her cartoon army made up of various animals as they head off to the trenches.
- The Oklahoma Kid (Bob Custer) is sent to New Mexico to buy and deliver back to Texas a cattle herd from the T-Bar-S ranch of cattleman Standing (Henry Roquemore.) He is soon in the middle of trouble caused by the Petty (J.P.McGowan) gang, who wants the herd and the money.Petty has henchman Pete Gibbs (Tommy Bay) impersonate the Kid, but the Kid, unknown to Petty and Gibbs, has a map of Oklahoma tatooed on his arm that serves as his identification.
