- Gallows is being raised in a prison yard. A moment before the execution the Girl brings a document of the young communist's temporary pardon. The chief of the prison, the Major, has a mandolin collection. He offers a fistfight to the young communist. The young man hits him. The Major and the young communist start playing the mandolins together. Girl is allowed to meet the young communist. The boy begins to play. The melody brings to the Major pleasant memories. He fought in the Spanish civil war, but after the defeat, he turned back on his beliefs. The Major receives a telegram that he needs to send the young communist to another prison. Death awaits him there. In is rage the Major breaks the mandolins. He orders the young communist to be taken out to work. The young man runs off. The Major shoots him himself.
- Maya works as programmer at a research institute. Being one of the youngest she is likely to be made redundant by the forthcoming personnel cutback. She decided to ask Ventsi for help, a childhood friend of her brother. He is associate professor and one of founders of the institute. Ventsi finds himself in an awkward position which requires him to stand by his principles or help Maya who is divorced and has a young son to care for. The director of the institute decides to take advantage of Ventsi's vulnerable position and use Maya's weakness. He asks her to sign a document which he will use against Ventsi and she complies...
- Miron is a mail carrier in a small village. He is in love with the beautiful agronomist Albena. She likes him too. Albena's husband goes on a business trip. The lovers are together at last, alone. The husband arrives unexpectedly. Albena says that Miron tried to rape her. The husband threatens the boy with court. Miron is ready to go through all challenges and never betray his beloved.
- Absurd grotesque. A young couple dream of having a wardrobe. When they buy it the wardrobe begins to totally manipulate their life - it orders their deeds, sets their taste, enslaves them.
- This is a film typical of Valeri Petrov's poetics with soft humor, its brevity of narration, its taste for biting parody and, most of all, its admiration for the purity and honesty of an inexperienced youth.

The company starts to eat the roasted bird, but they get sick. They are worried that the swan has been poisoned.
- The movie is set in the early fall of 1944. The baker Angel and his wife prepare an oven with bread. In the morning, the lumberjack Miloyko takes a bag of bread to the partisans. The baker has a dream, to bake huge bread with which to feed the entire city. A police officer enters and asks if strangers were looking for bread or flour. In the night, Miloyko returns with a wounded partisan. The police break in the bakery on the next morning. The baker helps the partisan escape. The police tie up Angel and his wife on the floor and burn the bakery down. Angel's last thought was who betrayed him.
- A young actress in a country town is almost smashed under the burden of the wear and tear of life. She has problems with her parents, she is not happy with her love affairs, she faces hypocrisy and cynicism in the society all the way. She copes with all the hardships with dignity, she is devoted to her work, she manages to preserve her mentality. But the most difficult thing is in store: she has to experience the true faith in what she is doing - the faith of the fire-dancers, who walk barefooted on glowing embers.

- Portrait of the people's scientist Peter Dimkov (1886 -1981). He has received military education in Russia. As a soldier he participated in the three wars for union of Bulgaria (1912-1918). In the 50s and 60s Peter Dimkov is punished because of his unusual methods of healing and practicing of the eyebrow diagnostics. He died at the age of 95 - with clear thought and perfect health, as a clear evidence for his healing theory and practice, of his deep and unique faith in the power of the human spirit and he was considered of the eternal people's healing traditions throughout the centuries. He pleaded for the need from the deep copulation of the person with the nature at a time, when words such as ''Ecology'', ''Fait'', ''God'' were considered as something unrealistic. He owned this view to the universe and the faith, which make from every person - unique harmony and great moral values. The movie was filmed in 1978, 1979 and 1980. His debut tribute at the cinema ''Culture'' was shortly after the death of the scientist, but the projections has been stopped because of the Central Committee of the Bulgarian Communist Party ( from the managing at that time Totalitary Communist Party).
- Docho Shoshkov works in a factory in a small town. He is very skillful, and can make everything using his hands. His greatest passion though is the violin. His admirers are the people gathering at the pub. His father read in a scientific journal that farm animals put on weight when exposed to music. He forces his son to play to some of his farm animals, while Docho's dream is, in fact, playing Vivaldi with a big symphony orchestra. Docho also has a wife and a daughter too and would be living a happy life if he could ignore his neighbors' intrigues. In a fit of rage, he kicks his wife out. There is a long hard way for him to go until he can realize he made a mistake and tries to regain his inner peace, yet there is one obstacle - untimely death.
