- TriviaA picture of Bill Murray's character and Barack Obama playing mini-golf in the film is a real photo. It was taken when Bill Murray was presented with The Mark Twain Prize.
- GoofsDean leaves the club together with Fiona and they drive off in a taxi, instead of Dean returning home to his family as planned. A long chase scene by Felix & Laura is shown.
It is never properly explained where Dean and Fiona went and what was Dean's motivation for his behaviour.

Slow, boring and Murray made it worse.
Did Bill Murray even want to be cast in this film? He had the personality and facial expressions of a celery stick. His monotonic voice made it seem he was bored, didn't want to be there, and there only for the cheque. So either he's forgotten how to act, or he was being disrespectful and uninterested to be in this film. There's bad acting, and there's acting so bad, that it brings the entire film down, and he did just that. A 5th grader would've been better cast than Murray, and this is coming from a big Murray fan..
Coppola's directing was decent, but her story was plain, predictable, and slow. I feel she also did a lousy job directing her cast as pretty much everyone was bland in their character, except for Marlon Wayans and Jenny Slate, who I'm guessing used their comedic and acting experience to get by without direction. It's a 5/10 from me.
