Truly wonderful macro photography. Color x-ray photography shows the development of a chick embryo from its early conception until its escape from the egg. One can see the blood cells pulsing thru transparent veins, and the heart beating. The soundtrack is Beethoven's EGMONT OVERTURE.
Definitely worth a view if you can find it. A prize-winning film. The 9-minute film was made by the Hungarian scientist János Vadász. It won the Grand Prix du Festival International du Film - Court métrage and the Prix de la Commission Supérieure Technique at the Cannes Film Festival in 1965. I would highly recommend it. It is scarce and hard to find, but it might be found at some universities and libraries.
