DC Batman: The Audio Adventures (2021)
I have eight hours a day to fill
I literally have eight hours a day to fill. I'll listen to almost anything. But this is high production, poorly cast, badly written trash. I love Melissa Vilesenor, but why is she playing Robin? Two Face's two voices were not different. Chris Parnell is ok, but just sound like Dr. Spaceman doing a bit. I which Rosario Dawson had better dialogue. I cannot believe this got a second season. I'm especially sad that this is so bad after having listened to The Riddler and Batman: Unburied. Those were both excellent. Do yourself a favor and listen to those instead. Sorry, Jeffrey Wright, even you couldn't save this crap.
Julia (2022)
The cast is incredible
Every single actor that shows up on this show is absolutely perfect. I'm continuously astonished at who appears. Sarah Lancashire give a such a good performance that I forget she's not actually Julia Child. It is always fantastic to see Bebe Newirth in anything and her chemistry with David Hyde Pierce is something special to watch. Her chemistry with ANYONE is something special to watch. The appearance of historical figures is a bonus and a treat. Roland being such a pathetic sycophant is hilarious. This show is like a warm, comfortable place to snuggle in. I'm anxiously anticipating a third season.
Doctor Who: Blink (2007)
Just the best
The best "Doctor Lite" episode. It's a mystery and adventure. It truly keeps you on your toes. It introduces an iconic villain. Gives us an unforgettable catchphrase. It even makes me like Carey Mulligan. Tennant's run was filled with bright spots and this episode is definitely one of them. Also, Martha Jones is the most self-sufficient and capable companion any Doctor of this run has had. There I said it.
Supergirl: Blind Spots (2021)
A great idea
The conversation between Kelly and Supergirl alone was worth watching the entire episode. I also loved the Kelly/Brainy moment.
Also, maybe we should start calling it the Diggleverse.
